Jennifer Wyly, Associate Head of School/CFOO at Saint Edward’s School, implemented FMX to gain better control over capital project planning and consolidate essential operations.

FMX was adopted to merge event scheduling, work orders, preventative maintenance, and capital planning into one system. The school now uses FMX data and dashboards to prioritize big dollar facility needs (like HVAC and roofs) and efficiently track their facilities team’s work.

The most impactful feature is the scheduling module, which uses conditional forms to automatically trigger relevant questions and notify specific departments (e.g., catering, transportation, facilities) based on the request. This eliminates double-booking and centralizes communication. Wyly advises others to fully utilize the system and the FMX implementation team to streamline processes.
