We are already in the planning stage. We met this week and are moving up our start date for the Fall. We believe we need to engage kids as soon as possible since they've been out of school so long. We also believe that starting earlier will allow some buffer time since another shutdown is possible in the late fall/early winter.
As far as cleaning, we are trying some changes during our summer school semester in an effort to fine tune what we will have to do this fall. Extra disinfecting is definitely going to take place. The administration is assessing possible changes to daily operations to minimize the interaction between students. Social distancing will be practiced whenever possible.
